We believe that God most powerfully showed love for us all in a person known as Jesus Christ, God’s son. Jesus chose to die on a cross in first-century Jerusalem for the sake of a better world and to demonstrate how much God loves us. God then raised Jesus from the dead to show us that there is life-changing meaning, purpose, and hope in self-giving love.

We believe that Jesus’ hope is kept alive in our hearts today through the Holy Spirit. Jesus’ hope frees us to share God’s self-giving love with others in service, worship, education, and fellowship.
